Look for an experienced Assembler with basic pneumatic skills, manual machine operation, and troubleshooting abilities who has working experience on automation equipment.
Duties:
* Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
* Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
* Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
* Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
* Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* *Ensures Safety and Quality Standards are met.
* Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand Blue Prints and Engineering Drawings, Able to follow written and verbal instructions, English Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Machine Building Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Pneumatic skills, Safety Management, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Decision Making, Minimum of 3-5 years manufacturing experience required and/or has demonstrated certain skills and product knowledge.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, write by hand and keyboard, and operate small measurement devices.
• Visual acuity needed for close detail work, microscope inspection, operating tools and machinery, using measurement devices and visual inspection involving small defects and parts.
